Schneider"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>\u201cWe can be beautiful \/ without cutting ourselves into pieces.\u201c <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lesbian and Trans Intersections in the Poetry of Yanyi and Joy Young<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The presentation takes place as part of the MA seminar on Queer Theory and Fiction (Department of English and American Studies) on Thursday, 20.01.22 at 4:15 pm on Zoom. The session is open to all interested students and lecturers. The presentation will be in English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A.M. Schneider (they\/them\/theirs) is a scholar and educator whose MA thesis (Goethe University Frankfurt) focuses on the intersections of lesbian and trans communities. They are also a poet, Yoga teacher, and writer who brings together topics of transness, queerness, chronic pain, and invisible disability.
